Greetings and Salutations to One and All,
Please let me introduce myself and give you a bit of background on who I am.
My cyber or on line name is froggy.
My given name is Linda and this site is my little corner in the World Wide Web.
I follow the ways of Spirit and The Elements (not elementals).
My Ways are of a Green Eclectic.
I have been drawn to Hecate all my adult life or perhaps I should say she has been drawn to me.
I became ordained as a minister through Chrysalis in order to officiate legally and rites and ceremonies.
I have been aware of earth and life energies and flows since I was a child.
I have been interested in and studied herbs since my teens.
I try very hard to utilize the gifts and talents that I was born with, as well as those I have learned and honed along the way.
I am not politically correct, nor do I wish to be.
I believe that society traded in being courteous for being politically correct.
This in my view has created many hurtful situations, between people of different walks, faiths and cultures.
My choice is to try to be courteous to all living things if at all humanly possible,
I have no problems defending me or mine if attacked.
I feel the same way about organized religion.
“In my opinion” the priests, clerics and rulers who had the duty to protect the faiths became corrupted and egomaniacal.
They took faith and made it into a way to control the masses and it became something I want no part of.
I do not have a problem with any faith, only the self-serving church leaders that most think of as churches now.
My views on life, sex and relationships are not always agreeable to what is considered the "social norm".
I do not believe in a one-size fits all in any walk of life.
I now live in New Mexico.
I have traveled quite a bit with in the United States, but my heart always seems to come back to the high deserts.
Many of those travels took me to the Pacific Northwest, where eventually I raised my children.
I have also lived in the deep south and traveled to and through many of the central states.
I still travel as time permits and I thank my gypsy soul for that, but I am happiest in the desert, where the sun shines almost year round.
It is place where the winds blow and speak to those who listen.
Just as the animals speak and if you watch and listen you can understand them as well.
The Desert here can be very yielding if you know how to work it and respect the balances that live with in it.
My personal concept of "true power" is knowledge, not the ability to force another to my ways or views.
My motto is: "If you can truly see (visualize) a thing and honestly comprehend it, you can make it happen".
I believe that we are responsible for our own actions in everything we say or do.
I also think that with the freedoms of choice we have here in the USA, responsibility for our choices is a must.
I have learned that energy can be directed by thought and belief. Since I am a part of that energy, just as all things are, I can also direct energy.
I use a whole body concept for healing, which is “body, mind and spirit”.
I also do transitional work with those who are dying.
I firmly believe that each person must ultimately decide for them selves what they need in order to heal them selves and to live their life to its fullest potential.
For some, I can help them to discover what they need by showing them how to look with in and see what is really there.
I do have alternative views on medicines, herbs and life but I do not shun the AMA, nor am I a vegan.
I figure that what works for me may not work for you and that is as it should be.
My spiritual goals in life are to be true to my self and my beliefs and to change and grow with them as I age and learn more. To find joy and to learn to be at peace with myself.
I do offer services for handfastings, child blessings, dedications, funeral rites etc.
I will travel if compensated or people are welcome to come to me.
I can legally perform rites for those of alternative faiths and practices as well as varied religious services for most faiths.
I will work with in almost any tradition, so that those who come to me can feel joy and peace in the rites and ceremonies that they may wish to use in their lives.
The only traditions I do not work in are the ones closed to clergy of other faiths.
I have no desire to go back to a time of no technology, no electricity and no comforts, yet I am eco aware and think we have to find other ways to handle our needs in all areas that can co-exist with nature and other forms of life with out trashing it.
I want to produce as much as I can for myself and for those who live with me by using more eco friendly ways and natural means.
I do not know if I will ever become truly self sufficient but I hope to become totally self reliant in this life time.
Things here are changing for us because we are working on a flipper house to increase our income.
We are in a transitional phase and as time goes by and as more things change, I will up date this so that those interested in visiting us, in real time, will know where we are and what is up.
The site is undergoing changes so please be aware of this.
